Beautiful, sophisticated lady who hadn’t thrown him under the bus when she’d been given a chance in the breakroom. He’d agreed to drive her to work. Why, he had no idea. This wasn’t in the plan. The plan was to join the missionary team. That was what he was called to do. But Beverly had asked, and without even putting her name with her face, he’d asked for an address and directions. What had he been thinking?

Before starting the car, I clicked on the Pandora app on my smart phone. The list of choices had gotten longer over the years. Which one would be appropriate when I was more than eager to get to my next destination, both personally and geographically, desperate for better things to happen? After scrolling down the list once, I chose The Slaughter Radio. “Eye to Eye” was the first song in the rotation. As a lifetime fan of Slaughter, I have always known this song was the first one from their debut album. I’ve always liked this song and what this one song generates in my own life. Great things. As I drove off, I wondered what even greater things would come in my life now.
