Fall is in the air, and to celebrate, a wonderful group of authors I belong to, Clean Indie Reads, is having a sale. You can find all the great deals here. We’re also having a blog hop to help spread the word. So please hop around and check out the authors who are participating. You’ll learn more about them, their books, and you might win a prize! With the changing season upon us, the bloggers are wondering: Do the changing seasons influence your writing and/or choice of books to read? For me the changing of seasons does not affect what I read. I love a good romance no matter what the season! As for whether the changing seasons affects my writing, well, maybe. I do find that my stories take on a colder setting or a stormier setting based on what I see outside my kitchen window. Comment below and let me know what you think about writing, reading, and the changing seasons. Please take a moment to read about my Clean Romance book on sale for 99 cents this week...Millicent, book one in the Southern Hearts Series. What a difference a few letters can make. Millicent Jane Beaumont, southern belle and daughter of a wealthy plantation owner, is turning eighteen. After planning the birthday party of the century, all she wants is for her best friend and pen pal, Stephenie Treen, to attend. But Stephenie never asks for an invitation and the party becomes an opportunity for locals and foreigners to seek Millicent's hand in marriage. Stephen Green, southern gentleman and son of a wealthy plantation owner in South Carolina, has secretly been corresponding, under false pretenses, with a young lady in Louisiana. As her eighteen birthday approaches, Stephen acquires an invitation to the private party. But when Stephen arrives in New Orleans he meets another woman who intrigues his heart. Will he make it to the Beaumont Plantation and meet Millicent or will this new lady draw him away? Buy Link: Amazon

Well, as you know, I read, read, read and seasons do not affect me. I read every single day, even on busy days or vacation, if it is only a chapter or two. I love historical books because they take you to places and you see things that you only hear of, but for just a little bit, your mind can allow you to live it. Thank you for being in this blog hop!

Great post Felicia! Thank you for highlighting this sale by some fabulous indie authors. The seasons do affect my mood for books. Fall is for fantasy so I'm reading some good ones right now. In the winter it will be time to cozy up with some romance, so I look forward to reading your novels, soon!
